The world around us is changing fast and to get ahead you have to choose the best option for you. If sitting in a classroom isn’t for you then Apprenticeships are the way to go. We will explore this option and help you make the right decision for your future. This is called impartial Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) and could mean exploring other options both inside and outside the College.
An Apprenticeship is a long term work based programme. It is a real job with training where you earn as you learn and get recognised qualifications as you go, that is available to individuals from the age of 16 – 60.
You will work towards work based qualifications such as National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) and other nationally recognised qualifications. You will also work towards a Technical Certificate as well as update your Maths, English and in some cases ICT skills.
