Open Days

Our Open Days let you explore your local college and chat to our friendly subject tutors. Our tutors will talk you through their area of expertise as well as what you’ll study on your chosen course, and what career opportunities could be open to you upon completion of the course. Our open day events are for school leavers, apprentices and adults to attend.

    • Early Years – A variety of activities that promote healthy eating for children

    • Health & Social Care – Measure / record blood pressure, respiration rate and pulse

    • Maths – Use your maths skills to escape our online room

    • English – Get creative and write the opening to our crime scene video

    • Nail Technology – Treatment demos and have a go for yourself

    • Public Services – Take part in some forensic activities

    • Teaching Assistant – An insight into the expectations of children in Primary School

    • Step Up – Skills workshop

    • Engineering – Have a tour of our Engineering Academy and machinery. Watch a workshop demo to understanding milling and turning machining techniques

    • Digital Skills Centre – Make sure you take a look around our brand-new Digital Skills Centre. We aim to provide access to a range of career boosting digital skills.
