Our courses are aimed at people at any stage of their training journey; from the beginner who wants to learn what counselling skills are, the intermediate learner who has completed a level 2 counselling course, and the more advanced learner who has completed a level 3 course and is ready to take on the exciting challenge of becoming a qualified counsellor.

You will be taught a range of counselling skills and how to build, maintain and end counselling relationships. Through this training you will take part in regular counselling skills sessions with peers and your tutors. You will also be taught counselling theory such as Person Centred, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Your training will help you understand what it entails to work as a counsellor.
There is no exam on any of our courses. Your work on the course will produce a portfolio and will be a combination of:
