    If you are looking to become a zookeeper, landscape gardener, countryside manager, car mechanic, vet, carpenter, florist, agriculture engineer or a farmer of the future, Rodbaston College is here to help you get there.

  • Facilities at Rodbaston College

    Away from the hustle and bustle of city life, take advantage of our beautiful estate and gardens which is only a short distance outside the market village of Penkridge.

    Our facilities include;

    • A working farm
    • Animal Zone
    • Equine Centre
    • Veterinary laboratory and operation unit
    • Wind farm
    • Horticulture greenhouse
    • Quad bikes
    • Motor vehicle workshop
    • Construction workshops (plumbing, wood and brick)
    • Gas Centre
    • Fisheries

    As well as this, we have IT studios, learning support zones, classroom spaces, cafe’s and free wifi.

    We also offer weddings and event hire at Rodbaston Hall.

  • Transport Links

    Transport to Rodbaston couldn’t be easier.  With local designated pickups, we offer routes from Stoke to Great Barr solely for South Staffordshire College students. We have pickups from train stations at Stoke and Tame Bridge Parkway Walsall.

    Some college students transport may be fully or partially funded subject to bursary funding.

    All our drivers are DBS checked and vehicles are fitted with seat belts. CCTV is in operation on some routes. We also have commercial bus services that provide transport to Rodbaston and students can purchase day tickets or termly passes as required.

    Applying for transport

    If you are starting a course at Rodbaston in September and would like to use our transport please complete the online application form, pay the deposit and a seat will allocated.
