The Forestry and Arboriculture sector has remained strong in recent years with extremely good employment prospects. Jobs can be found with existing firms such as utility companies but this sector also lends itself well to the smaller start up firm and private business. Specialists can quickly be earing in excess of £25,000/year, with senior advisors earning much more.

Key information
As well as achieving a nationally recognised technical qualification in Forestry & Arboriculture you will also have the opportunity to achieve qualifications in English and maths.
Training takes place on our Rodbaston College estate and is further supplemented by close links with regional industry experts.
You will be taught through a combination of classroom and practical activities that replicate the skills and knowledge required by modern industry. As part of this course you will be required to complete a minimum of 150 hours industry experience, a vital part of further developing employability prospects.
