The newly built Digital Skills Centres situated within Cannock College and Tamworth College provide a wide range of training, teaching and development within all areas of the digital sector.

The purpose of the Digital Skills Centre is to provide local people with access to a range of courses designed to boost digital skills.

We offer digital courses ranging from essential digital skills to higher level specialist courses, which means there is something for you, whatever your digital starting point.

Why choose the Digital Skills Centre at SSC?

We aim to provide our community with access to a range of career boosting digital skills.

Our essential digital skills courses will provide essential skills needed to be able to live and work in today’s digital world safely. For example, you could learn how to do online banking transactions, maintain a secure computer system using antivirus or back up your phone to the cloud.

Specialist digital courses are also on offer to support you with gaining employment in demand job roles such as cyber security, digital marketing, digital design, data and networking.

The Digital Skills Centre project has been part-funded by Midlands Engine and the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).

The aims of the Digital Skills Centre match the LEP’s vision to promote lifelong learning, increase confidence in the use of digital skills in life and work, and increase the number of people in employment within specialist digital job roles.
