Working at South Staffordshire College – what our Principal & Chief Executive says about working here…
I am proud to say that after being a trainee teacher I started my career at South Staffordshire College many years ago as a variable hours tutor in shorthand. After having many roles over the years, today, I have the privilege of leading this institution that transforms people’s lives. I am proud that I am not alone, many others have built their careers at the College.
Congratulations – you have made the first step towards seeking a new opportunity and working with a Good College.
We are very proud of our staff who are talented, passionate and have high expectations for our students. We also have high expectations of staff who work diligently in all aspects of the College whether that is lecturing, assessing or in one of our enabling teams such as Finance, Estates and HR.
In return, we will offer you a competitive salary, generous holidays and pension contributions, regular CPD opportunities, hybrid working for most roles and more importantly we care about your health & wellbeing giving regular ME days and using half-term periods for staff to work fully remotely.
We believe our staff are STARS!
STARS stand for our values which are Supportive, Transparent, Ambitious, Respectful and Sustainable. Please read our Strategic Vision 2021-2025.
