Is this course for you?

This course is aimed at all sectors within the landbased area, whether you are working in farming or horticulture. Whether you are towing a trailer or working the fields, cutting grass or maintaining turf, this qualification will help you have the understand and skills to safely use a tractor and attachments.

You will increase your skills and knowledge in :
- Health and safety
- Pre start safety
- Operating a tractor
- Driving with a trailer
- Attaching implements (PTO included)
- Post use maintenance

Other important information

You must be a minimum age of 16 years old. You will be asked to provide your own PPE but machines will be provided by the college for the purpose of training and assessment.

This work is partly based outdoors so appropriate clothing should be worn.
