  • Is this course for you?

Ready to build on the basics and take your productions to the next level? This one-day Intermediate Music Production and Sound Engineering intensive is designed as a follow-on for learners who have completed our Introduction one-day intensive, or who already have a solid foundation in recording and music production. Working in our brand-new, state-of-the-art music studio, you’ll get hands-on time with industry-standard equipment and software, focusing on improving your workflow, decision-making, and sound quality. Expect practical tutor-led demonstrations, guided studio tasks, and time to apply techniques to your own project—so you leave with clearer mixes, stronger recordings, and the confidence to keep progressing.

  • Required qualifications

No formal qualifications are required, but this course is aimed at learners who have completed our Introduction one-day intensive (or can demonstrate equivalent foundational knowledge of sound production and engineering).

If you’re already comfortable with the basics—signal flow, simple mic placement, recording in a DAW, and using EQ/compression at a starter level—this intensive will help you refine technique, work faster, and make more confident creative choices. It’s ideal for hobbyists, emerging artists, and aspiring producers who want structured studio time with expert guidance, plus the chance to connect with other like-minded learners.

Don’t let a lack of formal qualifications hold you back from pursuing your passion.
