    Mission, Vision and Values

    During this masterclass you will reflect upon the meaning of the terms Mission Vision and Values in organisations. You will analyse organisational/workplace Mission, Vision and Value statements and the role of you as leaders and your teams in their useful collaborative formation to create growth mindset through a continuing culture of positive future thinking, and ethical and respectful behaviours within organisations.

    Aspiring leaders, new managers, and experienced leaders looking to refresh and realign their leadership approach.

  • Learning outcomes

    By the end of this masterclass, participants will be able to:

    • Demonstrate a clear understanding of key research on Mission, Vision and Values of organisations and how this research can be applied in practice
    • Evaluate their current Mission, Vision and Values statements
    • Reflect on personal vision, values and cultural experiences to identify strengths and areas for development
    • Develop a short mission vision and values statement policy
  • Content areas

    • Overview of classic and contemporary research in terms of culture, vision, values, mission and business strategy (e.g. SCORE card, Kaplan and Norton; Senge, 5th Discipline; Coyle, Culture Code)
    • Self-assessment of mission, vision and value statement and the impact on individuals, teams and organisation
    • Reflective approaches to practical mission, vision and values statement and cultural impact
    • Identifying cultural strengths and areas for development in terms of ethical and respectful behaviours
    • Setting mission vision and values objectives for organisational impact
  • Delivery format

    Interactive workshop, including individual reflection, peer discussion, case study analysis, and action planning.

    Develop a short mission vision and values statement policy.
