  • Overview

Realising Resolve in Leadership: Turning tension into teamwork

This masterclass is designed to consider types of conflict and how and why this may develop within the workplace. This Masterclass can be used as a follow on from masterclass two where aspiring and current leaders can reflect upon their EI specifically within their approach to conflict. However, within this masterclass there will be opportunities for a review of EI during times of workplace conflict and the introduction and evaluation of other creative theoretical approaches to dealing with and preventing conflicts, so prior theoretical knowledge is not essential. This Masterclass can also be used as a useful tool to support team members, for example, with forward facing roles within the workplace.

    • Demonstrate a clear understanding of types and levels of conflict
    • Evaluate case study experiences of conflicts

    • Develop a targeted understanding of theoretical strategies for dealing with conflict in leadership
