A good standard of English is essential to fully engage with the course materials and successfully complete assessments.

Careers

Upon successful completion of this course, learners can progress to the CIPD Associate Diploma in People Management (Level 3) a nationally respected qualification that can enhance your career prospects in Human Resources.

Work experience

While work experience is not a mandatory requirement for this course, it is designed to help you develop key People Management skills that will support your future career. You are encouraged to share relevant experiences during group discussions, which will enrich learning and provide real-world context to the topics covered.

Interactive classroom sessions will include case studies, role plays, and collaborative activities that simulate workplace scenarios. These experiences will help you apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings and better understand how People Management principles operate in real-life environments.

English and maths

It would be advantageous for the learner to have a good level of English and maths at Level 2 or above to ensure that they feel able to manage the expectations of the course. Learners can access our fast-track courses for English and maths here.

Course specific:

• English – Learners will continue to develop English skills throughout this course through verbal and written tasks as well as research and reading to develop personal academic written skills.
• Maths – Learners will continue to develop their maths skills through analytics.

You will be supported throughout your journey by an approved CIPD tutor.

On successful enrolment, you will have access to online resources, CIPD materials, and college platforms to enable you to independently access resources you need to complete assessment tasks.

We have partnered with Mindful Education to deliver this course through our flexible Online and On Campus model.

Online – you will study award-winning video lessons, which are available on demand, and can be viewed from your phone, tablet or computer – meaning you can choose how, when and where you want to study. Lessons last for around 45 minutes and are accompanied by animations and motion graphics to bring concepts to life. Practice questions, downloadable lesson materials and interactive case studies help to enhance the learning experience further and learners should expect to spend around 8-10 hours studying independently online each week.

On campus – you benefit from regular classes with a college tutor – without having to commit to attending multiple evenings each week. Your tutor will review what you have learnt during your online lessons and will be on hand to provide guidance on progress and assessment. Regular discussion with classmates will help to reinforce key points while also providing the additional support and motivation that comes from being part of a group.
