Flower Arranging – Evening Class

    Would you like to be creative with your flowers and add flair to your floral arrangements? Would you like to learn the techniques that florists use and create your own individual style and learn new aspects of design and theme. If you are looking to improve on existing skills or even if you are starting with little knowledge this course is the stepping stone to a career or just for your own benefit and hobby.

  • Required qualifications

    No qualifications required.

  • What skills will I develop?

    You will learn the basic principles of flower arranging, how to get the mechanics of the arrangement right and how to treat and prepare flowers. The course will enable you to experiment with a variety of arrangements. There will also be opportunities to work on different themes and occasions.

  • Careers

    If you are looking to improve on existing skills or even if you are starting with little knowledge this course is the stepping-stone to a career or just for your own benefit and hobby.

  • English and maths

    Maths and English will be embedded in the courses by the way of measuring and learning the different names of the flowers and the techniques.

  • Other important information

    • The course does not include the flowers or sundries.
    • Each week a materials list will be provided for the next lesson.
    • You will require secateurs for the lesson.
    • You have to be aged 19 years and above to join this course.
