This masterclass is designed to support aspiring and current leaders in developing a deeper understanding of leadership principles while building a practical and personalised growth plan. Participants will explore leadership theories, critically assess their own leadership approach, and reflect on personal experiences to enhance their effectiveness and confidence in leadership roles.
Target audience

Aspiring leaders, new managers, and experienced leaders looking to refresh and realign their leadership approach.
Learning outcomes

By the end of this masterclass, participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of key leadership theories and how they apply in practice
- Evaluate their current leadership style and behaviours using a range of self-assessment tools and feedback
- Reflect on personal leadership experiences to identify strengths and areas for development
- Develop a targeted and realistic personal growth plan to support their future leadership journey

- Overview of classic and contemporary leadership theories (e.g. transformational, transactional, situational)
- Self-assessment of leadership style and emotional intelligence
- Reflective practice and leadership journaling techniques
- Identifying leadership strengths, values, and areas for development

Interactive workshop, including individual reflection, peer discussion, case study analysis, and action planning.
Assessment

Completion of a personal leadership development plan and participation in reflective activities.
