In a social media world, content is king, and the importance of ensuring journalistic integrity, while also effectively engaging with audiences is paramount. With so many avenues to put your message out there, be it traditional media of paper, magazines and their move to online distribution, to that of more evolving platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, you need to know your audience, and be clear about the content you are creating and the impact this can have both for businesses, but also the wider world.
On the course you will also develop awareness of career options and the evolving opportunities being created through social media evolution the impact to traditional journalism jobs and practices, and we will support you in the next stage of education or employment via support of CV writing, UCAS references and developing showreels and portfolios.
