  • Is this course for you?

    This course is aimed at adults (19+) to help with their wellbeing and is ideal for beginners or learners who want to refresh their drawing and painting skills.

  • Required qualifications

    No formal qualifications are required just an enthusiasm for the subject.

  • What skills will I develop?

    You will be shown different techniques to try out, working at your own pace, enjoying being creative in a relaxed atmosphere.

    There will be tutor demonstrations, group work and 1-2-1 support to learn how to draw and paint or to develop and grow your skills in this area.

    You will use a selection of drawing pencils and watercolour and acrylic paints. There will be a theme you can work to but can also be adapted if you wish to work on an independent project. All art materials will be provided but you are welcome to bring in your own art materials.

  • Careers

    After this course you can progress onto a qualification course to further your career.

  • English and maths

    English and maths is embedded within the course.
