  • Is this course for you?

    Are you considering a career in the Early Years Sector then this is an ideal course for you.  This course will be a good starting point in your journey into becoming an Early Years Practitioner. This course will  provide you with an introduction into working with children.

    Our distance learning courses are an ideal opportunity to enhance your career prospects.  You will receive all the necessary materials to complete the course in the comfort of your own home.

    You will be given 1:1  support as you work your way through each of the units from subject specific professionals.

  • Required qualifications

    A good  standard of English is required to complete the course and it would be beneficial to have an understanding of working with young children 

  • What skills will I develop?

    You will develop your knowledge of child development, the value of play and the active role of the adult in enhancing learning experiences for young children. The course allows you to build upon the knowledge that you already have and how develops it  further to incorporated in the Early Years foundation Stage Curriculum. 

  • Careers

    Now that you have completed an introductory course in working with young children consider one of our fulltime courses within the college where you will gain the practical skills

  • English and maths

    You should have a good level of English to complete the course.

    However, English and Maths is not formally assessed as part of your course.
