Rose comes from a proven sales and business development background having worked in both the public and private sector and within a number of different industries over a 16 year period including agriculture, engineering and higher education.
Currently she is commercial lead for Upcycled Plant Power, an early stage Agri-tech company developing novel products and processes across the food supply chain – from field to fork.
She has previously worked as Business Manager for the School of Sustainable Food and Farming based at Harper Adams University and Business Development Director for Agri-EPI Centre, bridging the gap between Research and Industry enabling the development of innovative solutions for the Agri-tech and Agri-food industries.
She has a deep understanding of the importance of science and technology as a key driver in addressing sector related challenges when working towards a more resilient and planet friendly food supply chain. She is passionate about supporting the next generation into the agricultural and food sectors as well as developing mechanisms to demonstrate the opportunities for varied and rewarding careers in food and farming with a focus on innovation and sustainability.
