  • Required qualifications

    Whilst there are no formal entry requirements you will need to be proficient with use of ICT to facilitate online learning and assessment.

  • What skills will I develop?

    The course will also cover skills needed to progress to further study including:

    • academic writing and personal study skills

    The course will also give you the opportunity to see if a distance/online approach to learning suits you before committing to completing a full Access to HE Diploma online.

  • Careers

    Successful completion of the Pre Access Award alongside evidence of achieving of L2 in English and maths will enable you to progress to one of our Access to HE Diplomas.

    We offer distance learning Access to HE Diplomas in the following areas:

    • Access to HE Social Science
    • Access to HE (Education Professions)

  • Work experience

    Work experience is not expected whilst on the course but if you are interested in a vocational degree such as teaching then it is beneficial to undertake undertaking some work experience in preparation for eventual progression to university level study.
