Access to HE Diploma
If you would like to study a degree qualification but don’t have the qualifications you need, then an Access to Higher Education (HE) course could give you the entry requirements needed within one year.
Pathways are available in health, social sciences, landbased, and public services – you will develop the knowledge, study skills, and gain the confidence needed to progress to Higher Education.
Previous students have successfully gained places on a wide range of degree courses including nursing, midwifery paramedics, social work, criminology and teaching.

Key information
Access to HE courses are designed to develop subject knowledge and academic skills needed to successfully progress to your University course and achieve your future career goal. You will also achieve a nationally recognised qualification at Level 3 within 1 year.
You will be taught using a mixture of classroom and practical based activities and will complete written and practical work.
Your course will cover a broad range of knowledge and support your skills development in terms of academic writing and study skills needed to move into Higher Education
