Christmas Wreath Students with their work

  • Is this course for you?

    During this workshop you will create your own bespoke festive door wreath in traditional or modern Christmas colours using a range of plant materials and seasonal, decorative sundries. We will focus on elements of design using Christmas themes and textures. Your design can be constructed on a mossed base or foam wreath (subject to availability of seasonal supplies). Whether you are looking to improve on existing skills or starting with little knowledge, this course could be the stepping stone to a career or the start of a new hobby!

  • Required qualifications

    No qualifications required.

  • What skills will I develop?

    Learn the basic principles of wreath making, how to get the mechanics of an arrangement right and how to treat and prepare seasonal foliage!

  • Careers

    If you are looking to improve on existing skills or even if you are starting with little knowledge this course is the stepping stone to a career or just for your own benefit and hobby.

  • English and maths

    Maths and English will be embedded in the courses by the way of measuring and learning the different names of the flowers and the techniques.

  • Other important information

    Supplies are provided, but please bring secateurs, scissors, gardening gloves and an apron or old shirt. The fee for this 3 hour course is £50, including materials.
