Are you taking your GCSEs but unsure about your next steps in September? Are you taking your A Levels and want to gain higher level qualifications? Whatever career destination you’ve set your mind on, South Staffordshire College can help.

You’re invited to come along to our open events for the perfect chance to find inspiration and start your journey towards your dream career.  You’ll be able to tour the facilities and meet specialist staff to discuss your options.

The events commence at Lichfield Campus on Thursday 7th June from 6pm – 8pm, with Tamworth, Torc and Rodbaston Campuses opening their doors on Saturday 9th June from 10am – 1pm.

Your career starts here!

You’ll find a wide range of courses and apprenticeships to choose from at all campuses. From digital games design, music technology and engineering technology to veterinary care, agriculture and business management, whatever you choose, you’ll learn from tutors with professional experience in your chosen industry.

Earn a salary while you study

Our apprenticeships team will be on-hand to offer advice about this practical, industry focussed route to your career. Available to people of all ages and at various levels, apprenticeships are a fantastic way to gain recognised qualifications and practical training whilst also earning a wage.

We offer university level courses too, many of which are delivered in partnership with Staffordshire University and the University of Wolverhampton. With full and part-time study options and fees that are over £2000 less than most universities, higher education has never been more accessible. From HNDs to BA (Hons), you can choose from subjects including animal science, computing science, film and television production, event management and many more.

Free English, Maths and ICT for Adults

Are you an adult who wants to gain valuable skills and qualifications for the jobs market? We also offer FREE English, maths and ICT courses for those aged 19 plus. These flexible 6-8 week courses will give you a recognised qualification and can all be studied remotely from home at a time to suit you.

There are also a wide range of other distance learning and part-time courses available, so whether you’ve got your eye on that next big promotion or would like to find a new hobby, visit our open events to explore the opportunities available to you.
