    There really has never been a better time for you to learn something new. Whether it’s for personal interest, to help in your job or to progress your career this level 2 Certificate in Working with Mental Health Needs may be just what you are looking for.

    The course covers topics that will relate to many careers including the education sector, health and social care, the NHS to name but a few or to anyone who wants to just gain a better understanding of mental health.

    This course is free and can be studied at home in your own time without attending college.

  • Required qualifications

    You don’t need any formal qualifications in order to do this course.

    You will need to be able to read and write in English.

  • What skills will I develop?

    This course will provide you with the knowledge and understanding to achieve a Level 2 Accredited Qualification.

    The course will give you an understanding of the role of the mental health worker. It covers many different mental health issues and develops an understanding of duty of care in adult health and social care and includes different approaches to care and management in mental health.

  • Careers

    Once complete you may want to continue and study another distance course.

  • English and maths

    You should have a good level of English to complete the course. However, English and Maths is not formally assessed as part of your course.
