This Level 3 qualification is designed for those already working in dog grooming, veterinary support, canine hydrotherapy, dog daycare, or pet services who want to offer preventative canine dental care as part of their role.

    If you have completed Level 2 or Level 3 first aid courses—such as the Level 2 Award in Principles of First Aid for Cats and Dogs or Level 3 Award in Canine First Aid—this qualification is an excellent next step in your progression. It also complements the Level 3 Award in Implantation of Identification Microchips in Animals, providing a well-rounded skill set in canine healthcare. By taking this course, you will learn how to assess canine oral health, apply preventative dental care techniques, and educate owners on maintaining their pet’s dental hygiene

  • Required qualifications

    You must have a Level 2 regulated qualification in animal care OR at least 12 months’ experience working in the animal care industry.
