    Would you like to enhance your career, personal development, or professional development? Then this qualification is for you. The level 1 in customer service supports you when dealing with internal and external customers within the working environment.

    Positive communication is the key, a welcoming environment, positive body language and understanding workplace policies and procedures are skills that are enhanced in this qualification. You will develop an understanding of positive team working and building relationships with work colleagues. Improving service delivery and service standards are new skills in development whilst studying for this course.

    Learners will be able to make sure that they are being provided with a safe and secure working environment that promotes their health and well-being. The most important tool that all our students have at their disposal is their tutor. As the personal tutor for working in customer service, I have in-depth knowledge and experience in this field. With qualifications, knowledge and several years of working experience.

    This course is for adult learners who would like or looking for a career in the Customer Service sector. It is an 4-week course and attendance is one day a week for 2.5 hours. The learners will gain a basic understanding of what it takes to work in this sector, delivering a high standard of different services to the public and to establish whether this profession is for you.

    No qualifications are required to enrol onto this course.

  • What skills will I develop?

    Designed to provide learners with the key skills they need to be successful: how to identify a range of customer focused roles available in the local area, demonstrate an ability to create good first impressions on the customers and how to describe the different aspects of customer focused roles available.

    Learners will develop and improve their skills and knowledge in Customer Service to deliver a high standard / excellent customer service to the public whether at front of house (reception) or in a call centre.

  • Careers

    On completion of this course, learners can progress towards a Level 1 qualification Introduction to Customer Service or a level 2.

  • English and maths

    Learners will be encourage to engage in discussions and role-plays to improve their communication skills via the telephone, face to face, emails or online. They will also learn what customer service means and the importance of customer service. To identify the link between quality and service. How to deal with and resolve complaints and to assess the different services required for different businesses / customers and other topics. The benefits are to gain skills and knowledge within this sector, to obtain and improve your job potentials in the future. Also to progress and study the course at a higher level.

    A pen, pencil and notebook are required but not essential.
