  • Is this course for you?

    This introductory course will support you in your developmental use of Microsoft Teams as a collaborative workspace and as a powerful tool for conversations, collaborative teamwork, video chats, document sharing and above all efficiency of working.

  • Required qualifications

    This course is an introductory however students should have a basic understanding and use of using computers as a foundation to build on. Previous experience of using Microsoft products such as word and outlook would be beneficial.

  • What skills will I develop?

    You will learn the various aspects and functionality of Microsoft teams, from setting up your Team that can be shared across employees or peers to support collaboration and monitoring. Using teams as a platform to host meetings, make calls, present materials, and structure channels towards specific tasks or topics, as well as identifying short cuts and ways to become more efficient in your use of teams including in its use on handheld devices while on the move.

    • A chat-based workspace that’s customizable to your team
    • Built-in access to SharePoint, OneNote, OneDrive for Business and other Office 365 apps
    • An Ongoing stream of a team, small group, and one-on-one conversations
    • Create, edit and share files directly in the app
    • Schedule and join meetings and video conferences
    • Accessible via a desktop, web browser or mobile device
