    This introduction course to Milling and Turning is designed for students who are beginners and would like to learn the skill of Milling and Turning. Working in our advanced engineering workshops, you’ll learn using industry standard machinery and equipment. You will explore the practical background of milling and turning.

  • Required qualifications

    No qualifications needed but enthusiasm and commitment required.

  • What skills will I develop?

    You will learn the practical of turning and milling and the turning and milling operations, health and safety, drawings and measuring equipment, feeds and speeds, work-holding, tool setting and a range of turning and milling operations.

  • Careers

    You can progress to a qualification course in Milling and Turning.

  • English and maths

    English and Maths will be embedded in the course structure.

  • Other important information

    • You will require your own overalls and safety work boots.
    • You have to be 19 years and above to join this course.
