  • Is this course for you?

    This course will provide technical ways to interpret data as to be of use when looking at developing or making business decisions and how best to capture, interpret and act on the data gathered.

    The core elements of the course focus on the development of skills based around the practical application of data and analysis and are intended to allow leaners to gain skills through discussion, case studies and application via collaborative work, critical thinking.

    The course will also provide knowledge of what software and analytical tools are available to allow for collation and presentation of information gathered as well as how this can be used to drive business growth or allow more traffic to your website or online portal.

  • Required qualifications

    No formal qualifications are required, but an understanding of computing and web technologies would be beneficial. 

  • What skills will I develop?
    • An understanding of data driven decision making.
    • How to best capture and interpret data to be of use.
    • How to use software to collect, analyse and apply results (web analytics, hotspots, click-throughs).
    • How to apply digital skills to enact these changes.
    • An understanding of how to use these skills within an industry context.
  • Careers

    This course is intended to provide you with an understanding of how data and information is used to make business decisions and could take you into areas of further study in areas of marketing or could be used to develop your own web page and to drive traffic to a client or customers website.

    Course times: 6pm – 9pm

    Course Locations: Tamworth College

    Number of Teaching hours: 21 Hours
