    Delve further into the world of networking with the second CCNA course in a 3-course series.

    This course focuses on switching technologies and router operations that support small-to-medium business networks, including wireless local area networks (WLAN) and security concepts.

  • What skills will I develop?

    You’ll perform basic network configuration and troubleshooting, identify and mitigate LAN security threats, and configure and secure a basic WLAN. You will work with routers, switches and wireless devices to configure and troubleshoot VLANs, Wireless LANs and Inter-VLAN routing. In addition, you will develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills and learn important concepts such as support available and reliable networks using dynamic addressing and first-hop redundancy protocols.

    On completion you will also earn a Certificate and a Networking Academy badge.

  • Careers

    Completion of your course could lead to a career as a Network or Network Support Engineer, Network Operations Engineer, Network Administrator, Sales Engineer/Virtual Account Manager.

    You will earn a Networking Academy badge and course completion certificate but It is recommended that you progress onto part three of the programme CCNA: Enterprise Networking, Security and Automation.

  • Other important information

    Throughout the course there will be formative assessments at the end of each chapter. During each chapter you will get to test your knowledge designing and configuring small networks.

    At the end of the course there will be a supervised test and practical which when achieved will get you your course certificate.
