    Are you working in the Early Years Sector and looking for opportunities to enhance your continual professional development, then this is an ideal course for you.  Through this course you will gain the knowledge on how to deal with illnesses in young children.

    Our distance learning courses are an ideal opportunity to enhance your career prospects.  You will receive all the necessary materials to complete the course in the comfort of your own home.

    You will be given 1:1  support as you work your way through each of the units a from subject specific professional.

  • Required qualifications

    A good  standard of English is required to complete the course and it would be beneficial to have an understanding of working with young children.

  • What skills will I develop?

    • You will gain knowledge on different types of infections and how they spread.
    • How to recognise when a child is unwell.
    • You will develop an understanding of accidents and serious illnesses in children.
    • The policies and procedures that you will need to follow.

  • Careers

    This course will support any learner who is an Early Years Practitioner with your current role.

    This with a diploma and level 2 is a good steppingstone on to a level 3 course This can be through either a full-time level 3 course or an apprenticeship

  • English and maths

    You should have a good level of English to complete the course. However, English and maths is not formally assessed as part of your course.
