South Staffordshire College welcomed into Chartered Institution for Further Education

South Staffordshire is delighted to have been welcomed into the Chartered Institution for Further Education. Chief Executive Principal, Claire Boliver, along with members of the college’s Executive Leadership team attended an admissions ceremony in London, where the college was formally welcomed into the institute.  

The Chartered Institution of Further Education was established to highlight excellence across the sector. The institute works alongside industry to help shape the national skills system to ensure that professional education providers are reognised as the key drivers of economic development and growth within their local communities. 

Chief Executive Principal, Claire Boliver said “We are delighted to become a member of The Chartered Institution that recognised excellence within Further Education.  Membership will enable us to collaborate with other providers to offer the very best skills needed today and in the future in order to serve our communities and the region” 

Dawn Ward CBE, Deputy Chair of the Chartered Institution for Further Education said: “We are delighted to have welcomed South Staffordshire College as members of the Chartered Institution for Further Education. CIFE membership denotes excellence in technical and professional education with South Staffordshire College being one of 6 new Further Education providers to have passed our rigorous assessment process to receive Chartered status at our most recent admissions ceremony. We look forward to working with them collaboratively to share practice and continue to ensure a unified and leading voice of influence that positively impacts our sector.”
