Lichfield College has recently committed to supporting the foodbank

December 2021

Over the past 18 months Lichfield foodbank usage has increased by almost 300%. In order to support the foodbank, Lichfield College has recently committed to supporting the foodbank and we have recently been approved as a collection point.

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to the foodbank’s ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

Foodbank’s provide a minimum of three days non-perishable emergency food to local people in crisis. All food given out is donated by the local community. The foodbank works in partnership with frontline care professionals to identify people in need.

As a college, we can also refer individuals to the foodbank if we identify people in need.

Donations can be made to the front desk of Lichfield College.
