If you have been thinking about hiring an apprentice to add talent to your business, now is a great time. Eligible employers are set to receive an increased incentive payment of £3,000 for each new apprentice hired between 1st April and 30th September 2021 under the scheme announced in the budget statement on 3rd March. Companies who hire an apprentice aged 16-18 can also benefit from an additional £1,000 payment meaning that some employers could receive a payment of up to £4000.
