In this way we are able to support you by tailoring the programmes to meet your individual needs and circumstances.

  • Pathways

We currently offer Employability Programmes in the following Pathways:

    • Health and Social Care
    • Early Years
    • Construction trades including: Carpentry, Brickwork, Plumbing, Painting & Decorating and General Building Maintenance
    • IT and Digital
    • Business
    • Administration

Please note that the new Pathways are continually being developed, therefore if you have any career interests that are not listed above please do not hesitate to contact us via telephone or email to discuss these further.

  • Programme Content

Combined with the development of your literacy, numeracy and IT skills requirements, the programmes are flexible in their delivery, run throughout the year and generally range from 6 to 12 weeks in duration. Our training team are highly experienced and passionate about passing on their industry skills and knowledge through a combination of practical hands on sessions and knowledge based content delivered using modern approaches to training.
  • Your Career Matters To Us

Along with good technical understanding and subject knowledge, employers often outline a set of skills that they would want from an employee. These skills are what they believe will equip the employee to carry out their role to the best of their ability.

We pride ourselves with having very strong industry and employer links and actively recognise the value of both transferable and more specialist employability skills to employers as well as to you as an individual, whether you are looking to enter the employment market, upskill within your current role or retrain for a different career pathway.

We are delighted to be able to offer you a unique opportunity to build upon and define your employability skills including initiative, problem solving skills, team working, self-motivation and the ability to adapt, to name just a few. Furthermore, in recognition of the importance of literacy, numeracy and digital skills, we will spend time with you developing these skills through the development of a CV, effective research, interviewing skills, budget planning, presenting and more. You may decide to accept the additional opportunity to gain a full qualification in either Functional Skills English or mathematics which would be free for you to do.

  • What To Do Next

There are no requirements for you to have any formal qualification in order to access an Employability Programme. If you have your sights on a particular career and want to develop the skills necessary to be attractive to employers, whilst developing more specialist subject skills in a modern and friendly environment, then our Employability Programme is certainly the right way forward for you.
