Rodbaston Transport Information

Transport to Rodbaston College could not be easier with local designated pickup points throughout the Staffordshire and South Staffordshire areas.

College Minibuses

The college has a small number of minibuses and operates a number of local pick up routes. Please take a look at the table below to see the routes and pick up point locations.

If the route you require is operated by a college minibus, you will need to complete our expression of interest form. Once received, our transport team will send you an online application form to complete and they will also advise how to make payment to book your seat. As we have limited seats on our minibuses, a seat cannot be allocated for any route until payment is received.

For some college students, transport may be fully or partially funded subject to bursary funding from the college. You can find out more information about bursaries here.

All routes operated by South Staffordshire College are liable to last minute changes to timings and pick up points.

College Route MB5

Newport, Donnington and Wellington

AM: The MB5 college minibus will pick up at Newport, Donnington and Wellington before getting to Telford Bus Station where all students must transfer onto Select Bus 809 to get to Rodbaston College. All students to pay the return fare of £6.50 on the 809 to Rodbaston.

PM: The return journey is operated by both Select Bus 809 and college minibus MB5, please ensure you get onto Select Bus 809 rather than a college minibus when leaving college. The Select Bus will drop you off at Telford Bus Station where you changed in the morning, where our college minibus will pick you up to drop you back off at Wellington, Donnington and Newport. There will be no additional fee to pay for this journey providing you purchased a return ticket in the morning.
