- About Us
Adults of all ages are welcome to join any of our full- and part-time programmes. A large number of our full time students are mature and most of our part time learners are over the age of 19, so you will fit in straight away. By the way, full-time doesn’t mean that you’ll be here all day every day – it refers to any course that takes more than 16 hours a week
We have a huge variety of adult courses. Some can provide you with job-related skills that will help you to get a better job or get back into employment. Some will give you the knowledge and confidence to set up your own business. And some will simply enable you to learn more hobbies and topics of interest. But all of them will give you the opportunity to meet people with similar interests and make new friends.
It’s understandable if you feel uneasy about returning to education, especially if you haven’t been in a learning environment for many years. But it’s all very informal and friendly nowadays and our tutors understand that you might need extra help and support when you begin. You’ll soon feel very comfortable at college.
Need any help?
Our support for you can begin before you even choose a course, if you wish. You’re welcome to visit the college, have a wander round and ask some of our current students what it’s like to study and socialise here. And if you have some queries, just give us a call. If we can’t answer them on the phone, we’re happy to arrange an informal, face-to-face chat to give you impartial guidance about your course options, studying, or any questions you may have.
