- About Us
Young people can come to college as part of our 14-16 provision while you’re still in Y10 and Y11 but you will need your schools permission.
School is not appropriate for all young people and varying reasons and situations sometimes causes disruption in school life and a fresh start is required. South Staffordshire College would like to assist with that fresh start. We treat every applicant as individual. We liaise with school and/or other agencies to accommodate and support our Y10 and Y11 learners, and upto Y14 for special school learners, into a vocational subject at our Cannock, Lichfield, Tamworth or Rodbaston Campus at the relevant level, from milestone up to level 2, full or part time. We can find the right level and course for you.
If college is something that you would like to pursue, please ask your parents or carers to liaise with your home school in the first instance. However, if parents and carers require standard 14-16 advice and guidance regarding college please do not hesitate to contact our Schools Liaison Manager.
Learners that have been home educated can apply directly to Karen Burley, our Schools Liaison Manager, email@example.com or telephone 01827 475945 for admissions for Y10 or Y11 aged learners.
For full time infil enquiries you can complete a referral form (below) which is instrumental in obtaining all relevant information to enable a quicker response to application. Please return the completed form to us marked for the attention of Karen Burley.
