Evaluation Process

The College values evaluation as assessment of the quality and fitness for purpose of our delivery and an aid to continuous improvement.  We undertake regular monitoring and evaluation of delivery as part of normal implementation but recognise that an independent third party evaluation is more likely to provide a truly objective assessment of activity. Funding has therefore been allocated in the budget to support independent evaluation which will be commissioned from a suitable provider.

 

Standard tools will be used to collect data to inform evaluation activities including learner feedback questionnaires and, where appropriate, employer feedback questionnaires.  All participants will be requested to complete the form at the end of the delivery session.  A random sample of participants will be identified, via the feedback form, for one to one follow up by the evaluator.  This will facilitate impact assessment of the training as it will identify the longer term effect participation has had on the individual.
