South Staffordshire College to hold floristry workshop

South Staffordshire College is holding a floristry workshop for enthusiasts at its Rodbaston Campus, on Saturday 23rd June.  Delegates can choose to attend for either a full-day workshop (10am-3pm) or a morning session (10am-12pm).

Visitors will find these demonstrations ideal for helping with ideas in creating celebration designs including weddings, church displays, birthdays and other special events.

They can also find expert advice from floral specialists on how to assemble floral arrangements, discuss colours and shapes of flowers and choose appropriate flowers for particular seasons. Each visitor will be able to take their arrangement away at the end of the workshop.

The Rodbaston Campus offers many courses in Floristry and has been highly successful in competitions both at national and international level, with several students recognised for their work and floral arrangements at places such as WorldSkills and Young Chelsea Florist of the Year.

The deadline for applying is the 18th June for the workshop or the morning of the demonstration for the two-hour session.
