South Staffordshire College has been presented with IAB’s Gold Centre Award For 2017/18, following exceptional pass rates for learners undertaking Computerised Bookkeeping courses over the past year.
The IAB is a widely recognised awarding body that has offered a broad range of accredited qualifications since 1973.
Bookkeeping and Accountancy courses at South Staffordshire College continue to help a wide range of learners work towards their career goals, whether it’s by helping them look after the finances in their own businesses, or as a stepping stone towards higher level accounting for some of the region’s biggest companies.

IAB Council Member, Donna Abrahams, who presented the College with the award on Monday 13th January 2017, said “It’s a pleasure to present South Staffordshire College with this award, based on their continued excellence within the field of computerised bookkeeping.”
Speaking on behalf of the College, lecturer Karen Groves, explained that she was “delighted to accept the award. I’m proud of the fantastic teaching practice by the team, and it also reflects how hard our learners work and the effort that they put in.”
