Instrument and articles
Each further education college must have an Instrument of Government and Articles of Government. The Instrument provides for the constitution of the governing body of the college and the Articles define the functions and responsibilities of the governing body.
There is also a supplement to the Instrument and Articles of Government. This is the Standing Orders, which set out the procedures and processes within which the governing body and its committees operate.
