Helen has over 20 years’ experience at Executive Board level and is a management consultant and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy. Helen has experience of highly challenging roles in the university, charitable and NHS sectors including the complete spectrum of the NHS healthcare system both in hospital providers and in commissioning in England and Wales including Executive Director of Finance for the largest Health Board in Wales with 16,700 staff and a budget of £1.2billion.
Helen has experience serving and chairing Boards and sub-committees of various sizes and complexity within a variety of sectors, including stakeholder groups with local authority partners.
Helen has a strong desire to support both existing and future students fulfil their potential, whilst also supporting local businesses and the wider community.
