Animal Zone and Visitor Centre

Throughout the Easter Holidays the Animal Zone is open daily from 10.00am - 5.00pm.
There are a range of activities taking place including Easter Arts and Crafts and Bunny Hunt in addition to our daily programme of Animal Encounters and Meerkat and Lemur Feeding/Talk Sessions

The Animal Zone at Rodbaston Campus is home to a wide variety of exotic, farm and companion animals. We aim to entertain and educate all visitors and operate a full programme of exciting special events throughout the year. The Animal Zone is open from 10.00am to 5.00pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and 10.00am to 4.00pm during the Winter (November - March). You can meet the keepers and enjoy animal encounters throughout the day.
Throughout the year we offer a variety of themed events including:
- Magical Mayhem
- Peppa Pig
- Mini Diggers
- Spooky Halloween Adventures
- Santa's Grotto at Christmas
Be sure to visit our shop, which opens at the same times as the Animal Zone. Located by the Animal Zone, it sells a variety of pet products including food and toys, a range of souvenirs and educational toys for children, as well as food and gift items for the whole family.
There's also a spacious tearoom where you can revive yourself with locally produced cakes and sandwiches. Entry into the shop and tearoom is free and we have ample free parking.
