Facilities For The Public

South Staffordshire College provides a variety of services on the four campuses that are open to students, staff and the general public. The purpose of many of these services is to give students real-world working experience in areas such as hairdressing, beauty, catering and hospitality.

Hands on work-experience

All of these services are available to the general public at a reduced cost compared to their external commercial equivalent. To support our students, why not try one of our excellent restaurants, or alternatively treat yourself to a massage, or have your hair done at our Hair and Beauty Academy?

Animal lovers are well catered for

An ideal family outing is a visit to the see the exotic and domestic animals at our animal zone in the Rodbaston Visitor Centre. The animals include lemurs, meerkats, chipmunks and many other fascinating creatures. More information is available here.

 

And be sure to look out for the highly entertaining equine events (such as horse trials and dressage) that are held regularly in our equestrian centre. These are open to the public, for watching and competing in. More information is available here.
