The Careers & Progression Team offer impartial career information, advice and guidance prior to you starting your course and throughout your time with us at South Staffordshire College. During your time with us the Careers & Progression Team will support you in making your next step by offering career guidance advice, help with job searching techniques and exploring different routes into fulfilling your career ambitions.
For those of you thinking of continuing into higher education, the team can help you in the preparation and application into higher education and provide guidance and support on student finance.
Support is offered in one-to-one interviews, group information sessions organised by your tutor, through guest speakers, career fairs and organised events to universities. Career resources are also available for you to use at each campus, including careers software and reference books.

Mentoring is a one to one service which offers support and advice to help you overcome any problems or concerns that you may have. More importantly it is someone who will listen to you.
You also have access to a variety of student activities, including sporting, social and recreational activities. In addition, a wide variety of events will be regularly arranged, including sports, leisure and entertainment, plus trips and visits to places of interest.
