Work Based Learning

Work Based Learning

South Staffordshire College is a great place to do an apprenticeship. This is an exciting form of work-based learning that teaches you hands-on skills and most of your training is carried out on-campus in a in a real workplace. You can gain an NVQ at Levels 2 and 3, plus key skills and technical certificates. Courses start at regular intervals throughout the year, so you won't have to wait until September to start.

NVQ Training for young people

Throughout your course you will be trained and guided by caring, friendly and fully qualified instructors. A personal training plan will be drawn up for you, through which your progress in the workplace will be regularly assessed, reviewed and monitored. Our foundation and advanced apprenticeships meet standards set by the Learning Skills Council for Staffordshire.
