Vacancy Description: We would like to provide the opportunity to an apprentice to work alongside us and bring on to a level where they can have their own clients with the opportunity to lead to stylist on a permanent position at the end of training for the right applicant.

As a Level 2 apprentice your daily duties will include:

  • Meeting and greeting the clients
  • Shampooing and assisting stylists
  • Keeping the salon tidy
  • Answering the phone
  • Working alongside stylists to further your skills
  • Training one day a week at college and further training in the salon
  • Working quickly to improve your skills and building up your clientele as a Level 2 Stylist.

Employer Description: Busy salon located in Chasetown with a very good clientèle base. With a good team of staff we have a very friendly all round salon, covering all aspects of hairdressing. Looking to recruit a Level 2 Hairdressing Apprentice to join our established team.

Vacancy Location: 139A Queen Street, Burntwood, WS7 4TN.

Working Week: To be discussed upon appointment to role. 30 hours minimum per week.

Training:

  • Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Hairdressing
  • Functional Skills English and Mathematics at Level 1 (if required)
  • Employee Rights and Responsibilities
  • Personal Learning and Thinking Skills

 

Vacancy Type: Intermediate Apprenticeship

Duration: 12 – 18 months
