Vacancy Description:

  • To support the Stores and Planning teams in daily tasks such as booking customer and manufacturing orders as well as using Movex (Faiveley Transport’s MRP system)
  • Liaising with customers to provide them with factual information on their orders
  • To work on improvement initiatives identified by the team by gathering information, analysing the information and presenting your findings
  • Attend College one day per week and complete all work set by the NVQ assessor within the appropriate time frame
  • Perform tasks considered to be within his / her capability
  • Ensure any information is passed over to the relevantperson
  •  Communicate to your supervisor / manager any deficiencies in the supply chain activity as they are detected and suggest any possible actions to correct these
  • Adhere at all times to the company’s Health, Safety & Environmental instructions and requirements
  • Take on any other reasonable responsibilities or tasks that are within the employee’s skills and abilities.

Vacancy Location: 11 Darwell Park, Mica Close, Tamworth, Staffordshire, B77 4DR.

Working Week:  Monday – Thursday: 7.30am – 4pm Friday: 7.30am – 12.30pm (37 Hrs)

Training:

  • Level 3 Certificate in Logistics Operations
  • Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT Level 2
  • Employment Rights and Responsibilities
  • Personal Learning and Thinking Skills

 

Vacancy Type: Advanced Level Apprenticeship

Duration: 18 months

  • Good understanding of Health and Safety legislation.
  • Ability to efficiently organise work load.
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.

 

Future Prospects: Possibility of a full time contract upon completion of apprenticeship.
