Sustainability is one of South Staffordshire College’s core principles.  The College has placed the protection of the environment at the heart of what it does. This area of the website is devoted to informing both current and future students, staff and partners of the College’s environmental sustainable activities, including:

  • our stunning BREEAM Excellent new build at Rodbaston
  • a can recycling campaign to help save the rain forests in Brazil
  • celebrating being the first FE College in England and Wales to achieve certification to ISO14001.

We have recently become a partner of the North Midlands National Skills Academy in Environmental Technologies and will be offering training in Solar Photovoltaics and  wind energy. We will also be installing two large turbines that will contribute green energy to the College and the national grid.
