History

South Staffordshire College is a new 'super college' that was created in 2009 by merging four established colleges: Lichfield, Cannock, Tamworth and Rodbaston. The college has approximately 1,000 staff and the four campuses can accommodate up to 20,000 full- and part-time students, of all ages from 14 upwards. Students can choose from a wide range of more than 200 courses, the majority of which are vocational.

  • 91% of level 3 learners leaving in 2009/10 progressed to further training, higher education or employment - (35% to Higher Education and 42% to employment)
