History

South Staffordshire College is a new 'super college' that was created in 2009 by merging four established colleges: Lichfield, Cannock, Tamworth and Rodbaston. The college has 1,400 staff and the four campuses can accommodate up to 20,000 full- and part-time students, of all ages from 14 upwards. Students can choose from a wide range of more than 200 courses, the majority of which are vocational.
